WOYWW - Wednesday 425, What's on your workdesk Wednesday?

WOYWW - Wednesday 425

Safe to say that my year's break of blogging means I missed A LOT of Wednesdays, so I went heavy on the photos to make up for it! If you are stopping by for the first time and are asking yourself? What the feck is WOYWW? Please visit Julia's blog for all the explanation, the short answer is we are all basically desk stalkers.

My first desk photo in a long time and it doesn't look too bad cos you know, you can see surface, but this wasn't a true reflection of what was going on...

This photo is a true reflection... Me (thinking to self): I have some lovely brightly coloured papers, I must find them. Mission: Turn craft room into living snow globe! Me: Succeeded.

You will see I found those papers though.

This little guy was the cause of it all.  I saw a lot of great unicorn projects on the Kit and Clowder Colouring group page on Facebook (find us here) and I felt inspired.

I got this little digi stamp from etsy and he obviously didn't take long to colour, I added some of the spectrum noir sparkle pen to give him some unicorn shimmer.

You have to admit he's pretty adorable.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I am going to be posting a lot more often now and look forward to stalking all your desks! Please leave a comment so I know you have dropped by and I can visit you too.

Lyns xx

I laughed at the success of your mission to cover every surface with paper - congratulations, you smashed it! I did much the same with fabric this week, it was everywhere - looked like an explosion in a haberdashery :-D. That unicorn card is very sweet - I don't normally buy into the whole cutesy thing but that is really pretty and would charm girls young and old.

Happy Wednesday to you. I've finished my mornings sewing so am having a lunch break and catch-up with a few more blogs.
I love the little rainbow unicorn card. I must tell you that the little man lying on the quilt on my post today is gorgeous but not my grandson. It's the grandson of my customer who bought my quilt.

A cute little card! I know that feeling when you're looking for something and you have to go through piles and piles of stuff before you find it (or not). I've developed a technique where instead of looking for something specific, I just start going through my stash and use whatever falls into my hands! I works most of the time and saves a lot of aggro. Welcome back to WOYWW! zsuzsa #26

Cutey little unicorn love his sparkle and the backing paper too, just the thing glad you found it. I have a "Blue" Corsa Doll too with the battery pack which used to emit the "C'Mon" sound but his battery died a while ago. I have just performed surgery on him to remove the battery pack but can I open the back of it - can I heck! I can see I have done this once before, hope hubby can do it although I have seriously damaged the screw now!! I'm still in my OLD car 2007 vintage can't bear to part with it especially as I taught my son to drive in it last year. He has a newer car than me now - typical! Thanks for the visit BJ#21

"Living snow globe" ! Lololol I guess I know the feeling too. Some days, my creative area has looked as though something's just exploded - especially when I've needed to find something in particular. I like how your jazzy unicorn turned out. Very playful and colorful.
Happy WOYWW!

P.S. I can just manage doing one WOYWW a month. I like to leave the last Wednesday of the month every month for visiting my fellow deskers. I simply haven't got time enough these days. i'm sure we're all glad to see you desking it up with us again!

Oh I love that smashing unicorn, he is gorgeous. Lovley card, and I do like your idea of covering the place in paper, I'm always doing that.
Thanks for visiting my page, I am not sure if I am going to be still going to find living on a narrowboat fabulous in /december when it is snowing.

Hi Lynsey, I'm still chuckling at your post. Your success in your mission is commendable. Love the little unicorn - the patterned paper is the perfect match. It brightened up for an hour or so this afternoon and then the rain returned ... just when we thought we'd blown it off in your direction :) Have a great crafty week. Elizabeth x #28

You cracked me up at the living snow globe comment. That kinda resembled my room before I did major cleaning/reorganizing. The card is really cute. Thanks for the visit and have a great week!
